How it began
Very simple: Mom Tina Roth Eisenberg was getting really annoyed at the stick-on tattoos that her daughter used to come home with. Not only was the drawings below par, they were dreadful quality as well. To top this off some of them contained very doubtful ingredients. Plenty of reasons for her above mentioned frustration. Luckily Tina is a woman with a motto:

“I have this personal rule that when I catch myself complaining about something over and over, I need to either do something about it or let it go.”

In this case she decided to do something about it. No self-respecting designer could simply ignore this deplorable state of affairs. Armed with a keen eye for design and a dose of common sense, she knew how to do it better. Along with a handful of designers she started her mission: The start of a success story….

How they do it
What makes Tattly so successful? Quite a lot, obviously. They strive to cater to the wishes and needs of today’s people. After all, you want a tattoo that is beautiful, but also not hazardous to your health? Tattly knew this, and this is why the company only manufactures tattoos without any hazardous substances. The prints are created from a vegetable based ink. This brand even has an “FDA compliant” label in America. In other words, the composition, ratio and ingredients of the products are approved by the U.S. government. By the way, all tattoos on tattooforaweek.com carry the same label. We too take care of you!

Let’s face it, healthy people are happy people! Because we laugh more and look at life in a good way. Tattly fans are also made happy through beauty and art. Read more in Tattly’s Mission Statement:

“At Tattly, we believe that great design and art can make people happy. We believe that quality products and great customer support are the only options. And we believe that, whether for a child or an adult, every Tattly should come with a smile.”

Tattly is a bubbling organization for sparkling people. That sense of aesthetics and optimism is not only found in the designs, but also in the philosophy of their team. Isn’t this great? It certainly is.

A global design team
Professionals are busy designing the collection from Breda through Toronto. Every designer has its own, typical, style. But none of them lose the focus on “fun”. A Tattly is fun by definition: these are designs with a twist and a wink. No weighted socially critical messages which are heavy to stomach, but rather a suggestion to revitalize. Have a laugh!

Every Tattly comes from the ‘Big Apple’. The prints are manufactured in New York City, and nowhere else. From there they are distributed to clients around the world. Think of that when you stick a Tattly, and say: “Brooklyn baby”.

You can get your Tattly separately or per theme. Go insane with a complete ‘tool set’ on your chest. Or release an entire circus on your arm. Attention assured!

Are you a talented designer? Tattly will print your design for you in Brooklyn. Who knows, they might like your work so much that they sign you up to design tattoos for the rest of the world. Pretty cool, right?
